I started knitting at a very young age. I knitted a very tiny white scarf. My mom showed me how to knit and started it off for me. She also finished it. Then I stopped for a while and a few years later, I started again. This time I made booties and mittens for a newborn cousin of mine. I gave up again shortly after that.

It was not until my mom came home with knitted toys and patterns that I found a true passion for it. This was in my teens and I was finally able to do a pattern from start to finish by myself. I started making them for fun and to gain experience. Then I started to make them as gifts. It is such a delight to see the person’s face light up with joy and happiness at seeing their gift.
