Feeling Inspired

I was recently asked to work on a special project and I jumped at the opportunity to allow my creative juices to flow.

I suggested three themes and created three rough visuals of each. From there, one was chosen and I was instantly inspired.

I got my notebook and pen (these are a must for me!) and I started planning. I created my to-do list, researched, and generated ideas.

Once I had that complete, the knitting side of me sparked up and I started designing wonderful pieces that fit the theme perfectly.

It might take one or two trial and error moments but I love the confidence I have in being able to knit pieces that people may not generally think to knit. I am proud of being able to design and create my own pieces. And it is so important to take pride in yourself. We have to embrace these moments. Self-love really goes a long way.

I cannot wait to create more and put this whole project together. I am also looking forward to sharing it with you all. But for now, it is a secret 🤫😉💖

Craft Supplies

I have started buying my supplies for both parties. I am planning on making as much of the decor as possible. I will buy some themed decorations so stay tuned for where to get good value (I have a few places).

The first place I went for supplies is Dealz. You can’t really go wrong when the majority of their products are €1.50. Below is my purchases from Dealz and the only item not €1.50 is the glue gun, which was under €4 (my apologies for not giving the exact price as it has escaped my mind – I know it was 3 something). Anyway, it’s a great bargain.

Next, I looked online and there are so many suppliers of crafts but one that caught my attention was Vibes & Scribes. The shop itself is located in Cork, Ireland. I highly recommend looking here for all your craft needs. Below is my purchases. I ordered them online and received them the next day, which is incredible and if I need any last minute supplies, I know I can rely on them. Their products are very reasonably priced too. I spent less than €40, including delivery.
